Fairfield University Dolan School of Business

The Charles F. Dolan School of Business is a graduate and undergraduate business school and one of the professional schools of Fairfield University located in Fairfield, Connecticut. The school offers fully accredited graduate and undergraduate programs, according to the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
The school is named after Charles F. *1947: - the Department of Business Administration was established within the College of Arts and Science.
*1978: - the School of Businesswas established as a separate school from the College of Arts and Sciences.
*1981: - the School of Business introduced the ''Master of Science in Financial Management Program''. This program is now known as the ''Master of Science in Finance Program'' (MSF).
*1984: - the Certificate for Advanced Study in Finance was introduced.
*1994: - the School of Business introduced the ''Master of Business Administration'' (MBA) Program which has concentrations in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems and Operations Management, International Business, Marketing, and Taxation.〔(), About the Dolan School of Business〕
*1997: - the School of Business received accreditation of its graduate and undergraduate programs by the AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business on March 6, 1997.〔
*1999: - the School of Business introduced the ''Master of Business Administration in Public Accounting Program''. This program is designed to provide students with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with an opportunity to complete a Master of Business Administration degree within a 12- to 15-month period - as well as fulfill the 150-hour criterion to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination, as passed in the State of Connecticut as well as most other jurisdictions. Concentrations available to students in this program are Accounting and Taxation, Finance, and Information Systems and Operations Management.〔
*2000: - the school was named the ''Charles F. Dolan School of Business'' in response to a $25 million gift from Charles F. Dolan, founder and chairman of Cablevision Systems Corporation and long-time friend and trustee of the University.〔
